International Women’s Day (IWD) is more than a date in the calendar.
It’s a global celebration of the achievements of women across every sphere, and a powerful call to accelerate gender equality. At DPM, we’re proud to honour this day by bringing our people together in a meaningful way.
To mark IWD 2025, a group of women from our Melbourne and Sydney teams attended a special celebration event, featuring keynote speaker Jelena Dokic – tennis superstar, author, and advocate for resilience and change.
Jelena’s story is one of incredible strength. Once ranked work number 4 in tennis, she has overcome extraordinary adversity, including a history of abuse, to become a voice for courage, vulnerability, and empowerment. Her honest and heartfelt talk reminded us all of the importance of believing in ourselves and lifting up those around us.
The energy in the room was electric as Jelena shared her journey – many of our team were deeply moved and left inspired by her resilience and message of self-belief.
The event was one of many planned under the Women in Finance banner – an initiative designed to empower, connect and grow women across the business. Through events, networking opportunities, and targeted development, we’re committed to supporting women to grow, lead and thrive at every stage of their careers.
More opportunities are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to see how our Women in Finance program continues to grow.
